Metal components, such as brass hardware, wrought iron fixtures or gilt or ormolu mounts, are often an integral part of furnishings and architectural interiors. We work with these materials to stabilize corrosion, clean them to a level desired by our clients, and preserve historically important coatings and finishes if they remain. We work with a large number of hardware companies to obtain correct new replacement hardware as needed. We also work with metal workers to repair and reproduce existing hardware, too.
